    Sunday, September 13 | 2pm
The Ebenezer Theater | 17 S. Washington Street, Easton

Join us at The Ebenezer Theater for a special author conversation presented in collaboration with Shore Lit and the Talbot Historical Society. NPR Best Book of 2025 author Elizabeth Evitts Dickinson will discuss her latest work, Claire McCardell: The Designer Who Set Women Free. A Frederick, Maryland native, McCardell is credited with revolutionizing American fashion through her pioneering ready-to-wear designs and her rejection of the restrictive, hyper-feminine silhouettes favored by many of her male contemporaries.
